Amiri Terminal

Description

Highness Architecture Engineering and Interior had been assigned to act as a solution architect to treat the eco issue related to the façade at the Amiri terminal in Hamad International Airport. The solution was to design a custom made Acrylic acoustic panels covering the facade and to upgrade the flooring and the related formal ancillary buildings in the main plaza leading to the Terminal. The design challenge in this assignment was in providing an effective cost & function solution to the client since the Architectural design of the building in its curvy shape creates a massive noise due to airplanes engines vibration when landing next to the building.

Scope: To assist as a Solution Architects in finding ways to solve the eco issue of the terminal’s façade
