QEWC TOWER (Competition)
Description
The site occupies a prominent position in the Lusail City Master Plan. The site will form the Western Gateway to Lusail City. The Concept for the project creates an iconic presence that not only celebrates its sculptural form but also its essence embodies the principles behind the vision for Lusail. The Design objective is to create a project that supports the vision of the QEWC. It is a proposal that supports the urbanization of Lusail, offering attractive pedestrian environments that connect with the larger urban landscape infrastructure. It optimizes the use of the land and allowable density while providing a functional solution that offers an iconic gateway project for Lusail City. The scheme has 5 major components:
- Tower 1- 22 Floors
- Tower 2 - 42 Floors
- Podium - Mix use, Retail & Office Space
- Above grade parking structure
- Below grade parking structure
Scope: Architectural Concept competition
Area: 50,000 sqm.
